As we all come to terms with the changing times at the moment with COVID-19 virus, there is a number of coffee shops refusing to refill KeepCups or Travel Mugs.
Now is not the time to get upset and angry. We urge you to respect the science. Standard food health and safety regulations are designed to contain and restrain the transmission of transferable infections like the flu and coronaviruses. We know this is temporary.
Whenever getting your KeepCup or Travel Mug refilled, always hand it over clean and dry to your barista, keep hold of your lid. Our range of KeepCups and Contigo Travel Mugs are all dishwasher safe, however there is nothing stopping you washing your cup with warm soapy water, don’t be afraid to pull your cup apart to wash it.
While many of us will be working from home in the next couple of months, take the time out and enjoy your coffee, use your KeepCup to make you feel a bit of normality. If you have the chance to get a takeaway and they will not refill your KeepCup or Travel Mug, consider dine-in and enjoy your coffee in a ceramic cup. Take the time out and chill.
